Flexon frames are another alternative to titanium. Qualities of Flexon frames include light weight, low toxicity and strength; many stainless steel frames are also nickel-free and thus hypoallergenic. Flexon has excellent resistance to corrosion, abrasion and heat.

Flexon  Rimless frames are the lightest type of all eyeglass frames because there is simply less frame material sitting on your face.  A light frame is generally, more comfortable, less noticeable, and it usually stays on better than a heavier frame.  A rimless frame hides the least amount of your face and your eyes, whereas other frame styles are designed to be seen and to cover up parts of your face.
